Alyssa was about 5 when the company Deborah worked for had a Christmas art contest for the employee’s children. Receiving no instructions from anyone, Alyssa allowed her creativity show as she drew the angel and chose the colors. Alyssa won 2nd place in the contest. Her mother is very proud of the artwork and framed the original and stitched versions similarly to display them together.
